Hi,
I am using opencart for my store and it is integrated with google analytics. I have few affiliates joined and promoting links thru blog or social media.
I want to know that how to track that how much traffic is sent from which affiliate links? and on which pages?
does it reflect on referral traffic page in analytics? Or do we need to do any settings in analytics using affiliate tracking code? if yes how to do that?
Please suggest.

On the catalog-end side, the affiliate links can be tracked with the route: account/tracking . index.php?route=account/tracking . Take note that you do need to be logged in in order to use this page. In addition, v2.x and v3.x uses different analogy for affiliate subjects since v3.x first requires nowadays to be a customer before becoming an affiliate.I want to know that how to track that how much traffic is sent from which affiliate links? and on which pages?
As for the file to modify, I would recommend using the catalog/view/theme/<your_theme>/account/tracking.twig file (v3.x) and point to a separate controller file or simply using an extension to track the tracking code.

Apologize for commenting on this old thread. But this doesn't resolve the issue what OP did mention that time:straightlight wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 10:04 pmOn the catalog-end side, the affiliate links can be tracked with the route: account/tracking . index.php?route=account/tracking .
