Force OC to use SAME template for category, filtered, and search results?

Let's say I need to make some changes to the way products are displayed in category results. Change some buttons around, styles, etc.
Everything looks good.

But now, if I use the filter (layered navigation / side filter), OR if I use the text search, the list of results is NOT using the category.twig template, but something else. And of course, none of my modifications are working.

In order to avoid having to customize additional template files - is it possible to force OC to use the same template for the default category view, AND the filtered view, AND the search results? It's basically the same exact display, I don't understand why it's showing up in different ways to begin with...

Alternately, if anyone at least knows which template files are being used for these different views, I'd appreciate that info.

Well, probably because nobody is interested to create one, just for the plain fun of it. But after you learned
about , there is nothing, keeping you from sharing your knowledge with the Rest of the OC World !

But those, playing around with OC, likely know, and others just have to read about on the Web,
how an MVC(L) Framework works, because then, one get's the basic idea about such.
