Hosting Provider: Hostgator
OC Version: Version 3.0.2.0

Here is how I have my mail settings set up in OpenCart:

I purchased the domain name through google domains. I pointed the domain name to the hostgator name servers as well.

Whenever I make a purchase / forgot password / any other e-mail function it sends from my personal gmail account shown here:

Do I need to add something (like an MX record?) to my google domains page to redirect something to go to hostgator? Here are my settings:

The site is live and everything, so I can get to the shop and the website from the internet. So it looks like everything is hosted correctly.

Here is the SMTP settings from phpinfo():

Here are the settings in the Zone File Records in HostGator:

I did put an "additional e-mail" in just to check if I could receive e-mails with the @website.com e-mail address and it was successful. This also confirmed that opencart is sending from my personal gmail address:

Not sure where to go from here, been pulling my hair out for days trying to get this configured and going through various settings. I also tried the "gatorXXXX.hostgator.com" as my SMTP hostname but it still sends the mail from my personal gmail account.

Any and all help would be appreciated. I tried my best to provide screenshots and relevant information :)

I'm not sure how missed this but I edited the email address in the "settings" table in the database itself for the e-mail account I wanted e-mails sent from. Works like a charm now.
