Hello.
This is my first time posting on this forum. I work at an IT company, and I am helping a friend with his webshop.
I mostly work with IT infrastructure (Servers, Network, Administration etc) and have a some experience in programming (VB, C#, a little ASP and PHP too). I have not set up a webshop before.
I have googled a bit and want to use OpenCart for him. I have read articles, some forum posts and watched videos on Youtube.
My friends requirements are:
1.
When new user (customer) registeres, it must be confirmed/activated by admin.
I have read that this is possible. Please correct me if this is not possible.
2.
He wont have online payment at this time. He needs that when a customer places an order and "checks out", a mail be sent to him with order details.
Is this possible?
(Ofcourse a mail with order confirmation should also be sent to the customer, but that function is already available, i read)

I dont use English much, so my appologies if something is not written correctly. I hope my question is understandable.

For number 1, you can set a customer group and then in the settings page, set new users to the customer group by default:

Now, for number 2, you could add a new payment method (cash or local pickup) to place the order and send the email notification
