I have just changed the main opencart site. It has many new features including sections where you can upload your site to the live sites section, extension management, a bug tracker etc..
More will be coming soon!
enjoy!

My guess is that they need to be re-uploaded into the new system by you, me or anyone.Xsecrets wrote:Noticed all the contributions are gone. This is great that we are getting a new system that hopefully works well and is searchable. My question is are the contributions going to be moved over or do we need to try to find them and reupload them?
I'm not sure where the old extension site went.

- You can register on the main website. What is it for? Because the login is not the same as the forum. And when you want to register and login, those password fields are plain text inputs.
- and imo, those fly-out menu's are slow and buggy. The one for documentation didn't work for me at first and since there is no textual link to the subsection of those menu's; some pages won't be found if you're not persistent.
I was to upload a new version of the Google Checkout module, but I think I'll wait for a day till the initial issues of the new OpenCart site are all sorted out.
Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig
This is a great benefit over the old system.

I agree, that's good indeed.i2Paq wrote:The new extension site will let you manage your own extensions instead that every Joe Anonymous could add to it.

I take it that we have to re-upload all our contributions again, or will you restore the previously uploaded ones to the new OpenCart site?

My guess is that the owner of the extension needs to re-upload it him or herself as he/she has to create an account.
As most of the extensions where outdated I think this is the only way to go.

I am still doing commercial work for many customers using older versions of OpenCart, e.g. 1.3.4 or 1.4.0, and for these I need access to the matching contributions.

Can't you reupload them. This way they are all under your control and you can choose what to do with themJNeuhoff wrote:The old contributions should be restored though somehow.

well it's a bit strange though. It seems like anyone can still manage an extension as long as they are logged in even if it's not theirs. At least everything came up when I was looking at someone elses extension and clicked manage my extensions I did not try to make or save any changes, so maybe it doesn't allow it.i2Paq wrote:The new extension site will let you manage your own extensions instead that every Joe Anonymous could add to it.

I did that alreadyDaniel wrote:is anyone willing to add the feature text for the features section?

Now when I tried to login again it tells me my name/password don't match.
When requesting a new password I get this:
Edit: now I can login again with my password.Fatal error: Call to a member function editPassword() on a non-object in /home/opencart/public_html/opencart/application/controller/account/forgotten.php on line 29
