admin dashboard sale by month

Hello,
How can i set the admin dashboard sale box to show the total sales for the current month and not total sales all time?
I tried looking into admin/controller/extension/dashboard/sale.php but did not manage to figure it out.
Using oc v2.3.0.2

Thanks IP_CAM but i need a quick fix, not $25 extensions which i dont need.
I think i am looking at the correct file but not sure what needs to be changed...anyone?

I fully understand. But it does not matter, you just have to accept the fact, that such
a modification would require a certain amount of time, and work, and knowledge as well.
And when it comes to latest OC-Versions, free custom-knowledge still seldom comes for free.
But OC is all about money, for everybody involved, even for you, I assume...
Accepted it or not, it's your 'free' choice! And don't blame it on me, I am probably the only one
around, who never made a single buck on or by use of OC, the contrary is the case.
And this is, why I can afford it, to tell the folks, how it works, without taking a risk of
loosing a potential Customer!

Just looking for a fix which should not be a big issue, this is one of those things that the forum is great for imho.
