3 weeks ago I opened a service ticket for an extension I purchased which didn't work, and the developer wasn't responding.

I've sent a couple of chance email but received no response

Is anyone picking up the service tickets / requests to Opencart for support?

I don't really want to raise a Paypal claim, but am left with little option - anyone have any other suggestions?

well, OC will not support you, when it comes to fix your Extension, you can only complain,
and ask for your Money back. At least, if the Extension you bought, is advertized to match
your OC Version and Theme, and as long as no other Extension possibly keeps the new
Extension from doing its Job.

So, you see, it's not quite so easy to judge... ;)

The new "Get Support" button on the extension page sends an e-mail directly to the developer, so if they're not responding then they either haven't signed up to received notifications (I'm not sure if that's necessary) or they're just not responding. You should submit a separate support ticket if they haven't responded in 3 weeks, and see what's going on. If they're not reachable, their extensions should probably be removed from the marketplace.
