How do I add AdSense (OC 2.0.1.1)

Hey,
I am using the standard OC theme. How can I add the adsense codes on my website? I tried using the HTML module but it did not work. I do not want to pay for any extensions. Is there an easy way to do this? I do have some coding knowledge... I know how to access ftp.
I have my adsense code already. I want my ad to be shown on every page.

I hope someone can help me out quickly. My website has about 5000 visitors and I think It is worth placing some ads.
