PayPal update not working on clients site

Hi

My clients site is using o/c 2.3.0.2 and ever since PayPal have updated their systems, it has not worked on the clients site and PayPal said there is nothing they can do, does anyone have any solution on how to get it working again, it currently keeps saying PayPal is not working at this time when customers go to pay/checkout
