Products in Category on Product Page

I sell a lot of custom made products, and I want to show many of these Categorised products in the Product Page (e.g. on a product page, more products would be displayed that are all in the same category, perhaps at the side or foot of the page). Is this possible?
Built into OC or do I buy a module for it?

To Display More Products From The same Cateogry on the product page You can add the related proudcts to do this

Go to Catalog->product Than Edit any product and go to Links Tab Then Go to Bottom Of That tab You will Find The Related Products option

So enter the name of the product and select one by one

And besides Related Products list you can add any number of modules on product page like featured, bestsellers, already bought etc. You can basically spam the product page with other products info.

Thanks for the suggestion - I was thinking of something more Automated so I don't have to actually make the related list. I find that with product pages, there it should show other products from the SAME category.

Thanks for the suggestion - I was hoping there was a module out there, that could Automatically show products from the SAME category....e.g. if someone is buying screws they will want to buy various types that would be in the same category.

It certainly could be modded, maybe a module exists already in the OpenCart Extensions Store for it ?

It could be quite messy though as the products displayed may be nothing to do with the product being viewed even though in the same category.

If no extension is found in the extension store, you should drop a post on the Commercial Support forum
