Can't Add a Manufacturer

Hello:

I'm building a new site using OpenCart 2.3.0.2 with the Journal2 theme. I've added 13 manufacturers to my page so far, but when I'm adding the 14th, when I click the save button, the action isn't completed. It instead takes me to the front end splash page of the website. I have several more companies to add, so this is going to be a problem unless I can resolve it.

As a test, I tried editing and existing manufacturer on the list, and that produced the same problem.
