can anyone help me with this, my checkout is not working, it doesn't do a thing. any help will be appreciated.

You got to be more specific and what your cart does and not does.
"not working" is a to general description.

Set "Show error on out of stock" to yes in the settings. This is kind of a stupid feature. There are 2 settings that affect the same function. You should not be allowed to set "Allow Checkout" to NO and "Show message " to NO because then you get this situation

If "Allow Checkout" is "NO" then Message is "ON"
