I need to add Dutch language in my store but I am not able to add dutch language code in the admin side. In admin side only able to add name of language. There is dropdown menu showing language locale of english and en-gb option but not able to add another locale code on that. Can you please guide me how I add
nl-nl
locale also in it.

Hi,
There is input field present on localization - language - insert new.
There is no drop down.
It is because of google you might be seeing drop down which remembers your last input.

You just need to add dutch language details and click save.
language code is : nl

I am also having this exact problem. Been searching around trying to find a solution, but no luck.
Language Name: (is fine)
Code: (displays a drop down menu displaying "en-gb")

There is no solution to this problem? It's not possible to install other languages in OpenCart?

Upload the nl-nl folder using ftp to your server and the dropdown will be updated. It reads folder names

Reason: OpenCart version 3+ ;D

Thanks!

I already have to new language folders on the server catalog > language > .....
but nothing is showing up in the menu except the en-gb folder already shown in the menu. Do I need to name the folders something special like country abbreviations or something? I've tried everything I could think of.

Just double checked, added an empty! folder named nl-nl in the admin languages folder and it showed up in the dropdown right after.
I'm talking OC2302 btw

I'm on 2302 also. And I just tried changing the folder name on the server to nl-nl. NOT working.
I checked on Chrome and Safari, macOS Sierra.

I followed instructions to add it in catalog > language so no, but putting it in the admin folder of course helped ;)

You saved me just before I pulled the last hair out of my head. Thanks Cyclops!

;)

It's actually on OpenCarts own homepage, unless I'm misunderstanding something.
