Single Quotes in Options Fields Can Break JavaScript

I recently discovered that after migrating from OC 1.5.6.4 to 2.3 That there were numerous errors in the JavaScript console for certain plugins. The culprit turned out to be un-converted single quotes in product options fields. It seems that OC 2.3 converts the single quotes to their ASCII equivalents, so the single quotes must have carried over from the old OC 1.5.6.4 version. The take home point here is be sure you don't have any single quotes hanging around in your description fields. If you do, convert them to '. for double quotes use ". I uses phpmyadmin to make the search for them much faster.

I can't reproduce this in my test 2.3 installation. What option type, name, and value were you using?
