Recently site had 508 errors.

Since then i tried various thing like

• upgrading php version.
  Banner set to fixed dimentions
  Cashing
  Avoided lot's of carousels in front page
  Avoided social buttons extentions
  gzip compression
  simplified generaly the home page

What else can we do to improve speed and never expirience again 508 errors?

Site uses extentions. Can this lead to errors and make load time bigger? Where can i find the errors and what causes them and fix them?

Hi Depending who your host is really, but what I found out when I had to many errorsI was switching my ip when moving around. Best and simple way to fix is login to CP MySQL and run check and fix.

However opencart has nothing to do with your host or internet
but you could buy a dedicated IP from your host which you should use anyway for SSL and payment security
