Is there any more convenient to upload image of product?

I like the various option in publishing my item, but the management of images is not convenient, i have to upload the images to "image" folder, then I need to find the image that just have been uploaded from a lot of pics, thats take too much time. So what if I have 1,000 products in one category? Before that I have tried to use zencart, and i think it is more convenient to manage the images. Also it will be nice if a module combined upload and pick here.
