I changed the Opencart logo for my logo, by replacing the name of my logo's file by the name given to the opencart logo and putting it in the same location. I just thought it would be resized, but now it's taking all the space of the pages (login and admin). It took like one day and a half to appear there, and now that I changed it back to the opencart logo, it doesn't get updated!! Help, please!! It's too big that it doesn't let me open the options in the left pane. Help me make it get updated, please!

If you are not able to see left menu. Then log onto server using filezilla or cpanel.
And then go to image/catalog folder.
You can remove that logo image directly. And then visit the admin page. So logo image won't come.
Now create a new logo with NEW NAME. It is important you give new name else old logo shall only come.

Something weird is happening though. I deleted all logo pics from their location, even from the trash folder; and it's still there

You have to clear cache. If actual image is deleted from source then it can only come from cache of browser.
So delete cache. Or try different browser.
If image is still there, then actual logo image is not deleted.
