Version 2.3.0.2

Hi,

I'm having a weird problem with the categories in Admin.

When I create a new category, I take all the steps needed; e.g. Name, Metatag, Parent --none--, store: Default, SEO-URL, and mark it to appear in top.

However when I click save, it says 'success', but it is not showing anywhere within the categories.. Though when I try again, it says the URL has been created/is in use.. ???

So I tried changing an existing category, in this case 'Camera's'. I changed the name only. It appears in the front-end.. but it is gone all together in the admin section/list of categories.

I've tried deleting cache and rebuild, and different browsers. But they won't show up :-\

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Many thanks in advance :)

you probably just forgot, to clear/reset your Cache and modification System,
before trying again.

Hi,

Do you mean in Modifications? Because I have none. I am using Journal2 from Envato. Everything is set in ->extensions->modules->journal2. Has it's own interface.

Well, Journal Themes use their own Cache Systems, you have to check on this as well.

Unfortunately, the creator says it's not a journal problem so I should check out opencart forums..

Still not working by the way.. hard to believe I am the only one ever to have this problem :p Is there any way I can do this differently, maybe in the database itself?

Aha! I have found it... >.< Silly me. I changed default language to Dutch, but not admin language.. I didn't know it would actually not show up if you have admin language on English and no title for English category.

Thanks. Can close this one now :p
