It installed without issue and runs as expected in the dashboard. However, no menu links appear on the top menu. There is no documentation and the developer's support link doesn't work. Anybody out there know what I might have missed.

Check your error logs, both, the one in the System/Extension Section as well as the one in the VqMod/Log Section.

I found the errors below. Can I fix it by reinstalling the module or installing the VQmod version rather than the OCmod version? thanks.

1. Check, if your OcMod Top Menu Links Extension consists of more than just an xxx.ocmod.xml file.
2. If only the XML File is part of the Extension, upload this File into your vqmod/xml/... Directory.
3. Run your Shop, then, check your vqmod/logs/... Subdirectory for a possibly existing error File.
4. Come back here and show us the Content of this Error Log File.

Explanation:
IF you have VqMod Version 2.6.x installed in your Shop, an OcMod .xml File (itself) will work as VqMod as well,
and it is much easier, to find out about errors, and solutions, if you do it this way.
But clean out all your CACHE Sections first, reset the OcMod Functions, before you make your Tests.
---
But if your OcMod Extension also contains files, such as a:
controller/whatever/top_header(_whatever).php
theme/template/whatever/top_header(_whatever).tpl
File, you need to upload such Files into their corresponding Subdirectories as well, to make it able to work.
JUST MAKE SURE, NOT to overwrite any existing DEFAULT OC File_named Files, when doing such...! ;)
