Tax issue - it's killing me

Hi all
I have followed the geo zones for dummies, set the correct tax class 10.0%.
Now my problem is: If I enter $180 in the product page the homepage shows $198 (this is correct)- for the front page to display $180 I would need to minus the sum by $18
If I enter $162 in the product page the front page shows $178.20
I want it to display $180 (gst incl.)
Am I loosing it?

You're definitely losing it.

Your math is off. It's an easy mistake to make. Instead of multiplying by 0.9 you need to divide by 1.1.

price you want / 1.1 = product base price

So for your example:

180 / 1.1 = 163.63
