New orders all of the sudden started coming in as "Order Status: Cancelled" just as soon as we installed PayPal Standard.
We had PayPal Pro running and it did not do that.
I've checked admin >> extensions >> payments (PayPal Standard) >> Order status tab and everything is set fine in there.
I also re-checked PayPal Pro and it is correct.
Lastly, I went into Systems >> Settings >> Option >> Checkout section >> Order Status is set to "pending". No where on this page can I find anything that is set to "cancelled".
We are running a vanilla version of Open Cart Version 2.1.0.1
Is there somewhere else that I might be missing to set this correctly?
And the weird thing is it is even spelled wrong. It is spelled "Canceled" on the order email.
We are selling physical products not digital.
As for your question, I think I already covered that in my initial post:
"Lastly, I went into Systems >> Settings >> Option >> Checkout section >> Order Status is set to "pending". No where on this page can I find anything that is set to "cancelled"."
What seems like an indicator here is that it is set to cancelled but cancelled is spelled wrong. It comes across as "canceled".

And want to clarify the customer gets their email receipt and it says 'Order Status: Canceled'. The admin also gets their email alert with the same thing. Cancelled, spelled wrong, but only for people who checkout using PayPal Standard.
PayPal Pro works fine.
PayPal Pro works fine.
What is your "Completed Status:" set to in Paypal Standard module?lanitechforum wrote:And want to clarify the customer gets their email receipt and it says 'Order Status: Canceled'. P.S. Cancelled or Canceled are both accepted spellings.
