Slow loading category with lot of products

Hello, i have web-site that is fast loading. But when you click category with >1000 products. It loads much slower

On what should i watch, database?

after looking at thing like shown below, it will take multiple steps, to make this site
work, the way it should. Starting, by making links according Web-Standards. Then, check
on the Site testers, XTMetrix is not even able to reproduce images, meaning, that something
delays/witholds them during page Load, thereby resulting in good, but highly incorrect test results.
Look below for some Eyecatchers...

The only problem is, that you're using a Custom Theme, including it's own Cache System, and
probably other speedup/cache-catchets, therefore, exept for the advise, to make your Images and some of
your header.tpl CSS/JS-Links to work from/by a cookieless domain, and use a highly effective
.htaccess file, anything else would be plain guessing in the dark.
You will find matching Extensions for this.

Hello, the problem is only when there are a lot of products >1000, when less it loads great. So what to do with loading all products?

1'000 times 1 single percent of one second, more, or less, will be 10 seconds, more, or less, as a result.
Weight add's, like in real Life, just accept it, and make your Shop work and act like a Pro. Avoid ANYTHING,
what 'forces' the 'Web-System', to use 'known' ways around. But any Combination of such 'ways around' could eventually
lead to errors, and problems, because OC is not just a bunch of HTML Pages, but a System, bound on some Rules.
There is no way out.
