OC 2.1.0.2 Refreshing modifications problem

Hi,
I have installed Order entry system for OC 2.0 from the address below:

Had to install it through ftp and not the extension installer then when going into Extensions > Modifications and hitting refresh the following code comes up:

I have messaged the maker of the extension and he says the installation has got a problem and no more. It is hosted on Nublue which has an installation ready to go so after installation and getting over some other issues I now have this problem.

I can't install anything through the extension installer as it comes up with the same error every time. Can anybody point me in the right direction of what is missing/not working properly?

Check your admin/config.php for path to DIR_MODIFICATION
And check the existence and permissions for this folder

Try to remove content of folder system/storage/modification (NOT folder, only her content!)

Also recommended to use this patch for upload archives ocmod.zip
