Adding Modules to individual 'Information' pages.

Hi Guys,

ive been looking online all night for a solution to this, thought i found one on here but it isnt working for me for some reason.

What i am trying to do, is add the 'category' module to a single information page.

From what ive read, the process is, Create a layout for that information page, enter the route (which i think may be the issue), i am using the seo url, so the link to the information page is 'www.something.com/shop', does that mean that i have to enter '/shop' in the route?

once that is done, i add the module to that layout, but it doesnt appear when i visit that page.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Create a layout for that information , the route doesnt matter. Then edit the information page in admin , and on the design tab , at layout override, select the layout you've just created.

I did exactly the same.. selected layout override in the category's editing menu. However, when I apply a banner to the layout, it is misplaced. Am I doing something wrong?

What do you mean by misplaced? To what position did you add it?
