I have a site based on opencart 2.2.0.0 and until before some days all working fine. Today i noticed that i can't change the images on my products or on my categories!? because when i press on the image to change it i redirecting to admin's login screen area!?... but when i try to change the Store's image, i can change it normally.
In past, i changed normally the images on many of my products and categories, but now i can't!?
So is this a bug? Can you help me to resolve please?
PS: I use a Journal Premium Theme for Opencart 2.
Thank you for your time.

I presume you mean the store-front end?dimitrishalkida wrote:No, only Opencart and Theme.

I mean that i installed only the Opencart CMS and the Journal Premium Theme... nothing else yet. No extensions/plug-ins.straightlight wrote:I presume you mean the store-front end?dimitrishalkida wrote:No, only Opencart and Theme.
This analogy is contradictory since the Journal Premium Theme is an extension/plug-in feature. If you're experiencing issues with the products and categories amongst this theme particularly, switch back to the default template and see if you can reproduce this issue. If not, contact the developer of the Journal Premium Theme to resolved this issue.dimitrishalkida wrote:I mean that i installed only the Opencart CMS and the Journal Premium Theme... nothing else yet. I have already contacted with the Journal's Theme Support Team from yesterday and i am still waiting for an answer. But i am not sure if this bug? is from the theme because the same version of theme is installed on another Opencart sites (but in older versions 2.1.0.1) and working fine there.This analogy is contradictory since the Journal Premium Theme is an extension/plug-in feature. Anyway, i still waiting...

That observation may not include the fact that Opencart v2.1.0.1 may differ from the back-end modifications compared to the latest version of Opencart by using the same extension or by using the same version of Opencart with the same extension on different servers. Both may definitely involved different results on that end.dimitrishalkida wrote:I have already contacted with the Journal's Theme Support Team from yesterday and i am still waiting for an answer. Hi,
Admin issues are not related to the theme, as Journal doesn't modify the back-end in any way.
You can search for more information on OpenCart forums at http://forum.opencart.com and consult with an OpenCart developer about this.

So, what can i do now?
Also, in VQMod Manager, you can see if you have any installed XML files. If you don't currently have VQMod Manager installed, I would suggest to download it: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... er#p625724

I do not have installed VQMod. If i install it, i resolve my problem?... i don't think.

Journal 2 is not part of the default modules, however.In admin - > extensions - > modules, i see all only the defaults as enable (Journal 2, Banner, Carousel, Categories, Account & Suggested products). In admin - > extensions - > modifications, i don't see anything.

If you are sure not to have any XML files installed, you do not need to install it if you don't need it. However, I would verify the root folder if there wouldn't be any folder name called: vqmod .I do not have installed VQMod. If i install it, i resolve my problem?... i don't think.
Afterwards, if you verify in your admin - > systems - > tools - > error log page, do you see any recent and relative error message from either the contained name of category.php or product.php file?

I am not sure what you inquire by log under tool being closed but another location where you can manually view the logs are under your system/storage/logs/error.txt file or under your host console such as cPanel error logs.dimitrishalkida wrote:Oh my god! I make anable these options and i try again but i see the same problem and nothing in log console.straightlight wrote:Enable the Log Errors option and save the changes. Then, try one more time to reproduce the same issue on your admin categories and admin products page. Then, once the changes submitted, go to your admin - > systems - > tools - > error log page and see if there are reported lines in the text area.

find the 2nd instance of:
Code: Select all
$this->cache->delete('product');
Code: Select all
exit;
