Unable to add products

I was adding new products to my store and then when I tried to add one more product it didn't save. I've tried creating a product with the + sign. That lets me fill in details but when I save it, it doesn't appear. When I try duplicating an existing Paducah I get the message confirming I e copied the product but it doesn't appear either. Is there a limit somewhere on how many products can be added?

A + character is not related to limited products a merchant can add. If you check your admin - > systems - > tools - > error log page, do you see any recent errors regarding the admin/controller/catalog/product.php file around the events where you added the + sign?
