Check sort order number to exclude number X from menu

Hi,
Is use a module to add a custom menu with information pages in OC and am trying to exclude certain pages from this menu.

How do I check the sort-order-number (value) in a foreach? I'm planning to just skip each page with the sort-order-number set to 999.
