Hello,
I'm looking for the best admin bulk editor. I have tested a few of these managers like Opencart Storemanager and Admin Quick Edit Pro and they are quite nice and useful, but there are always missing some features. I want to be able at least to bulk update products, but if the extension can handle other edits on category, templates etcetera, I'm ready to pay a little extra.
The features I certainly want to have for the admin editor extension I'm looking for, are:
- Bulk update of the OC filters (not possible in Opencart Storemananger)
- In case of bulk update of products, I want to have the possibility to add the new entries to the existing one (and not to overwrite the existing ones. For example, if I select 5 products belonging to 5 different categories for a quick update of the categories they are belonging to and I select category Z, I want to add category Z to the existing categories for each of the products. I don't want that they seem to belong only to category Z after the update.
- I would like to be able to introduce the price including VAT in some way. It is okay if the VAT is introduced as one fixed value, for example always 21% VAT.
If you are aware of such a "complete" product manager, please let me know.
Thanks,
Vicef

Hi, I will not refer exactly to advanced products editors but I can suggest you to explore also another powerful possibility with MAss Product Update extensions.
I personally use AQE and Mass Products Update (full version here http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=13256) and I'm able to perform everything I need with the combination of the two.

M

Hello Madimar,
Thank you for your input.
I have already been testing both extensions on the demo site. I suppose they are compatible and can be used together?
I think they are indeed very powerful. However, the only feature that seems still to be missing is the ability to input prices including tax. Now I still have to recalculate my price with some calculator to extract the VAT (always 21% fix) before I can introduce it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Best regards and thanks again.

Well, you are right, prices need to be inserted without vat. This is a general approach.
On the other side other extensions exist allowing to insert a vat included price. Maybe you could check with AQE developers if they can integrate them. It shouldn't be so difficult.
