Hello all,

Just want to know if someone has made Bitcoin Github working.
I have downloaded the extention on
https://github.com/btcgear/OpenCart_Bitcoin

It seems to work right, but I tried to do a payment, but now I'm waiting for the payment to arrive in my bitcoind wallet.
What is the "Time to complete order:" that is recommended. I don't see any information. I currently have 1800 seconds.
The thing is, I tried to do a test order, but the wallet doesn't show up on https://blockchain.info/ bitcoin explorer. The small amount has been taken from my MTGOX account. Maybe it will come back as the wallet ID is unknown. I have no idea why the wallet number is unknown.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have no experience with the bitcoin extension. It would be good to ensure it's legit before using...

Many companies already accept bitcoin. And Amazone is also considering Bitcoin payment. It is a matter of time before it will become a very common currency. Also the American court has accepted bitcoin as a valid payment currency.

honestly, I am not so sure about this, BC may be a nice Toy for 'Twilight-Zone-Stuff'-Traders, Derrivate-Type-Investors, and Gamblers, but in real Life, an honest Busines cannot count/rely on a Currency, possibly loosing half or more of it's Exchance-Value over Night. Exept of, if the amount of BC Product sold is less than 1-2 Percent of total sales.

In addition, how would you get a hold of anyone, clearing out your Account, or cheating you in another way, as it has been done already multiple times in the past. And most of the Exchanges are annonymous as well, so, one actually keeps it's BC-Money in a fully unknown BANK. And, since it's max.Amount in Bitcoins is limited, it's only real Purpose is, to grow in Value, or then, go down to Zero again. But real Currencies do and cannot function, this way, exept, if used to speculate with.

And the biggest Problem of all, who in the World is really able, to handle 0.00025 Bitcoin Amounts in the Brain? How much is this, in real Value, and how FAST could one overpay, by Factor 10, just by plain Accident, by adding the DOT in the wrong place ... :-\

But possibly, Swiss have a little different View on such, we are really small-minded, when it comes to Money and Security. But since it has paid out, this way, so far, there is not much reason, to change this point of view, I guess... ;)

Just my 2 Cents, it's not my problem, after all.

I haven't used Bitcoin myself, but if you can't get the Github extension working, Stripe can accept Bitcoin, and my Stripe Payment Gateway supports that functionality as part of its Stripe Checkout options.
