I am using OC 2.1.0.1 and find the text editor very frustrating as it has 2 issues I cannot seem to resolve:
- it has no facility to alter text size or colour
- the 'open in new window' does not work, and if I enter the code manually in html mode, as soon as I save the entry the 'target="_blank"' instruction seems to be deleted.
I tried to install this mod - but the installation fails when I upload using the Extensions manager.
Has anyone any suggestions for resolving these issues.

UPDATE:
I have found that now the target="_blank" working
- it was only happening in Chrome but worked in IE and FF so the problem was only in chrome - and I found it was a bug in an extension - now solved.
I also found a mod Vqmod (courtesy of @viethemes) to add the font size button to Summernote,
- but still need to somehow add a 'font color' button - if anyone has any suggestions.

By default Text Editor has font size tool. Did you try to take a look at this option http://prntscr.com/awocc1?

I assume you meant 'font color tool' (not font size).viethemes wrote:By default Text Editor has font size tool. Did you try to take a look at this option http://prntscr.com/awocc1?
I had previously noticed the tool in your screenshot but when I clicked it and saw 'background color' I went no further (a pensioner moment), but have now tried it again and am happy now

Thanks for your response.
