French version

This is my first post here...
My name is Raton-Labeur, and I'm very interested with this wonderfull open-source project "opencart".

I like the simplicity of this e-commerce software, and the beautifull layout of the default template...
Waouwww...

I would contribute in a few day by making a french translation...

Is this procedure correct ?

1. Create catalog/language/french  and admin/language/french  directories.
2. Copy the files under catalog/language/english to catalog/language/french and the files under admin/language/english to admin/language/french.
3.Change the name of the file catalog/language/french/english.php to catalog/language/french/french.php and the name of the file admin/language/french/english.php to admin/language/french/french.php .

IS THIS CORRECT ?

Because first, I want to be sure of this procedure, before the beginning of my translation's work...

I think this is the correct way!

You need to also add it in the admin / settings / localization / language

Any translation would be a big help.

For the moment, I've some problems...

I don't succed anymore to run opencart (I'm using Wamp5). I don't know why ?
Always error messages on my browser...

Before to begin the translation, I need to understand the soft and make it runs correctly...


As soon as I will be ready, I'll be a french translator.
