How i can change/add code for extra info in order comment?

Hi all!

I have problem - I can not find which file is responsible for to add a new comment to the order.
My order_history table have addition field 'spec1' and i want to write my special data to this filed when administrator of orders send new comment. But i cant find which file contains this action (writing new record in order_history table when send comment with order status).
I see: controller/sale/order.php, view\template\sale\[order_info,order_history].tpl, model\sale\order.php and can't finded this code. I see also controller/extension/openbay.php and can't understand he have this action or not...

You forgot to specify which OpenCart version you use.

I'm guessing on version....

try looking at the History function in ../catalog/controller/api/order.php
