Well, now, it's about time, to start on, what Customers look first, when visiting a new Site, called PERFORMANCE.
And don't settle, before you reach the early 90'es, in both cases, by use of the GTMetrix test Site, and at least 97% at Pingdom, as well as 70% Mobile + 85 % PC on the Google Test Site.

Yes, the probably best Extension is called:

but it costs 110 US-Bucks, and it goes relatively deeply into the System, technically, wich would/could make it
harder, to add other Extensions, without a certain chance, to screw up somewhere.

Unfortunately I just KILLED TWO Shop Sites, containing some infos on this 'Performance THEME', by accident, by deleting two wrong DB's, so, you'll have to wait until tomorrow, 'til I get the latest release installed and working again. I had some important information and links on one of those Sites, so, I have to create the stuff again first.

They partly do similar things, so, one cannot just upload all of them, and hope, they will do their job.

Anyway, you see, there are different things to do, in different places. I expect you to know, what you're up to, otherways, it's possibly better to get a Pro around here, if you worry about a little coding. I only explain things,
I don't do them for others. It would be bad for those, trying to pay some of their bills with this kind of work !

PS: To conclude this with another Image !
On the image below, you can see, what can be done, by use of JUST some of the free Mod's, I linked,
by use of a simple responsive Theme, on a category Page, listing 32 Products, and a total of 2'000
active Test Products. Entire Product Counting does still work, it's just cached as well. But this is
the result of some thousand hours of testing, so, it did nor really come for free... after all!

OK - page speed should be improved! Thoughts and suggestions??

I like it - the speed is acceptable to me - I don't like the EBAY in all caps - it doesn't flow with the other menu items - should be eBay. And the My Account link should not be in your main menu - it's already in the top menu directly above. But overall- very nice!

Your website is so slow, to the point where probably up to 50% of potential users would give up after 1 or 2 seconds of waiting. The main reason for your slowness are:

- The initial request (slow server, slow DB, Journal theme?)
- Multiple subsequent calls to Facebook

Do you really need all this social networks stuff like Facebook and its pixel tracking? It can can kill your website!

Thanks jneuhoff, I disabled the Facebook and Twitter side blocks, seems to have cut the page load speed a lot, much closer to 3 seconds load time.
