I have searched the forums and could not find a solution to this problem. When I go to the image manager, this is what I see:

Image

When I upload an image, it gives me a message that says something like your image has been successfully uploaded, but it does not appear. I have tried this on multiple computers and I get the same problem. I will be happy to provide any additional information if needed.

I need this problem solved. It is the only thing that is stopping my business from opening.

I will give a reward via paypal if I get a solution within one hour.

I am using the latest version of opencart.

I already know about that problem. It happened to me before so I made an edit to a file so opencart would allow it. I uploaded a .png and it appears in the ftp folder, but, actually, there is no message that pops up saying it has been uploaded.

other ideas: try to have only one image in folder for example opencart_problem.jpg or try to create new folder image/data/product/ if it does't show up problem is probably in your browser try the newest firefox or IE8

try if image manager on this site (demo) is working in your browser. If it is working and fresh instalation on your hosting doesn't then it should be hosting problem

fresh instalation -
If you have products in database backup it from phpmyadmin!
delete all files, delete all tables in database, upload new opencart files to your ftp and run instalation.

so try to instal opencart to sub directory
1. create new sql database for example opencart_test
2. create new folder on your hosting for example test/
3. upload new opencart files to test/
4. run www.yourdomain.com/test/ and instal opencart to your NEW database
5. you can test imagemanager on this fresh instalation

I'm also experiencing this problem (I'm running version 1.4.0).

I really don't think a fresh install is a feasible solution...

In my opinion, I believe this is some sort of a bug with Opencart. Searching for 'Image manager' within the community forums returns over 200 matches!

Try changing PHP support from Apache to CGI, http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 04#p160504
