Import/Export extension for categories

I have been using the "Export/Import Tool" for a bit now.
It is a bit finicky about exporting large numbers of categories but it has been working fine importing a large number of categories.
I recently revised the "sort order" for 4000 plus categories. Nothing else just the "sort order".
It took a couple of attempts to get it to upload succesfully but it finally indicated that it had completed the upload succesfully. The first couple of attempts it would work for a bit and then just stop. No announcement that it had completed or anything.
Unfortuantely, now all the data is in my data tables but none of the Categories show up in the Admin web site or on the Front End site.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
