Import/Export for v2.x permission denied

Hi there,

I've had a trawl through a lot of pages and am yet to find the help I need. I know people have experienced and solved similar but I can't work out how! Hope you can help?

I have installed the import/export tool however there were no access/modify settings for the module.

The tool is there under systems but comes up with an error message to say permission denied.

Following someone elses help, I went to look under admin/controller/tool to see if it was in there but it wasn't.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the module multiple times with no more luck and I'm not sure where I'm supposed to go from here. Do I need or install it manually or...? If so how do I do that, is it just a case of copying over the admin and controller files? I'm not very experienced with all of this so a good step by step would be extremely helpful!

If you need any screenshots or info of modules/themes already installed please let me know.

You need to give ya self permissions in user groups in the tools just select all on both parts and then save it and then you be ok

If you don't see it in that list, that means it wasn't uploaded to the correct spot.

I am having the same issue and I have installed through Extension Installer so no way of getting the path wrong?
