I have a site running V2.0.3.1 using a theme which works with no issues.

I am trying to use the same theme in V2.1.0.2 and get the following error at the top of the pages
'Notice: Undefined variable: icon in /home/u265178797/public_html/catalog/view/theme/bolshopdark/template/common/header.tpl on line 20 Notice: Undefined variable: google_analytics in /home/u265178797/public_html/catalog/view/theme/bolshopdark/template/common/header.tpl on line 40'
Can anyone explain how I can get rid of it.

Thanks

Has no one any ideas what is causing this problem?

I tried a different theme (Ancart) and get the same error.

The first theme ('bolshopdark') is not listed as compatible with V 2.1.0.2 and I thought that might be the problem, so I tried the Ancart one which is supposedly compatible with the latest OC version - so why the problem?

Hi pewe,

Most themes that are supposed to be compatible are not - http://www.randemsystems.com/support/op ... ty-themes/

Other Helpful Information

Also did you "upgrade" your OpenCart installation?

Randem,

Thanks for the info but I'm not sure it relates specifically to the errors I was seeing, or am I missing something?.
NOTE: I say 'was' because I decided to revert to a previous version for the new store I was trying to create for a friend.

Also - it was a new installation, not an upgrade.

It is all related (but you have to read it) ... Try using the default theme to see if the error goes away.
