Google captcha error while checking out as guest

I have just seen that there is an error on Opencart 2.1.0.1 if you are using google captcha enabled when you reach the Step2 of billing Details there is a second telephone number request.

You cannot proceed with the checkout after that. Guest checkout only works if the google-captcha is disabled.

Im having the exact same problem. and i cant find a solution for it. i do not want to update to the newest version and then another issue. I wonder if just getting rid of that Telephone field would solve it. anyone with any solution?
