Using the Royal Mail Shipping

Hi,
I am new to this and finding it a little confusing.
For the shipping on my site i want to use the RoyalMail shipping module to be able to offer 1st class, 1st class signed, special delivery for uk and international shipping options for the other countries.

But i dont want to do it by weight i just want one price per postage option is this possible and if so how do i do it?

Just enter a single high weight bracket for each service you want to offer. For example:

99999:10.00

For that to work do i need to add weights to all my products or can i just leave them on 0 as i have nearly 1000 products?

You can leave them at any weight -- the 99999 is the upper limit, so any weight between 0 and 99999 would work.
