Description in product list No Line Breaks???

I'm having trouble within the descriptions in the product list. I would like there to be line breaks like the product page description, except in the product list it just extends to on block of text without line breaks. So when there is a line break it seems to not even add a space between where one line ends and the next starts.

is there a way to remove the description and price in this view?

And is there a way since my pricing is per sq ft or sheets, etc. My price changes while they are building the item, because of this the price is 0.00 until they select options. I would love the page to have the image, name and another area under the name that I could type As low as $1.50 / yrd.

I think I need to add another field in the product setup maybe under the name like a subheader, and then show on the product list...

Is there a mod that can do this? and using your customcss or java, add something that will eliminate the description, price and add this subheader?

I was just looking at this, is there a way since I don't use several product fields I could add one to the category view for the Starting at 1.50 / yard and ad that field to the product lists? I also need to remove the description and price from the list(s), and see about adding say the location field to the product list so it would be the image, product name, location (starting at 1.50 / yard)

I guess this would raise another question on what field i all ready have in the product area that isn't being used and wouldn't add it somewhere else within the site.
