Payment gateway not working

Hi, I am new to Opencart and have just started using Opencart 2 with the standard template.

I am trying to configure Paypal to work as my payment gateway. When I have South African Rand (ZAR) as my currency, the check out process says that there are no payment options available. When I add USD, it works, but only in USD. Is there any way I can have South African Rand as my only currency and still have Paypal standard working? Is there another payment gateway that will work for me?

At this time, Paypal doesn't allow for collecting of monies in this currency (ZAR).
