I have just found out that my hosting company is using a Zeus server, so I cannot use Apache based .htaccess scripts or files. Zues uses a rewrite.script to do the same actions - does anyone have the correct script or know of a way to work around this issue?
you'll have to find someone who knows how to write zeus rewrite scripts and show them the .htaccess so they can create a zeus script that does the same thing. I personally have never even heard of zeus.

Zeus servers are becoming more popular with hosting companies in UK & Eire it seems.
I notice in the Joomla forums that rewrite.scripts are being discussed more & more. Someone will have come across this issue before and solved it with the correct script.... I'll wait a bit before changing host methinks!!peteVA wrote:change hosts
