Hi
I have installed this to a fresh 2.1.0.1 install.
All went fine.
Tried to use this, it has an error that I must click on the settings tab, click a tick box and update settings.
However, the update button doesn't work... click, and nothing changes...

Hello,JNeuhoff wrote:See my previous forum post on this.
if this refers to the 3 items, i have the correct FTP creds (tested with FileZilla)
FTP root, i have used the same that is in the config.php file (just without catalog at the end) - is that right?
refresh does nothing for me.
many thanks
Danny
I have the same problem. I was also thinking that it must be something related to ftp creds, but also tested with FileZilla and everything seems to work just fine. I will be looking for solution but if someone comes up with something then it would be great.
Look, this is an issue with OpenCart's installer, not the Export/Import tool, the latter works just fine on a standard OpenCart. If you think the OpenCart installer needs sorting out, or to be improved, please post it on github. In the meantime, there's always the option to use iSenselab's installer fix.
Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig
Also, after an install, go to Extensions > Modifications, and then click on the 'Refresh' button is the important step in this quote and one I overlooked at first. Thank you!TLEwebdevs wrote:JNeuhoff wrote:At the danger of repeating myself (because it's always the same questions here): Please use the Installer fix, there are quite a few users who are unable to have a proper FTP server in local test machines. Am Using Oc V 2.0.1.1 With The Free Export/Import Tool And It Was Working Just Fine Until We Migrated From Our Host..
When I Go To Export My Files And Click The Export Tab It Takes About 2-4 Mins Then Goes To Page Not Found Everything Else In My Admin And Website Works Just Fine.
My Hosting Says No Errors Are Found And In My Error Log In Opencart Admin No Errors Are Listed. The File Is Not That Large
When I limit the batches to 1000 it works, how ever I have 2000 products.
I am hosted on a vps with 5G Ram and resource is not an issue.
They Said It Should Not Time Out Because I Have 3600 Time Allowed. I Have Seen A Few Similar Post And Googled But Without A Resolution.
Does Anyone Have Any Input?
Here is my php.ini
magic_quotes_gpc = Off;
register_globals = Off;
default_charset = UTF-8;
memory_limit = 4096M;
max_execution_time = 3600;
upload_max_filesize = 999M;
safe_mode = Off;
mysql.connect_timeout = 200;
session.use_only_cookies = On;
session.cookie_lifetime = 900;
session.use_trans_sid = Off;
session.cookie_httponly = On;
session.gc_maxlifetime = 900;
allow_url_fopen = on;
;display_errors = 1;
;error_reporting = E_ALL;
date.timezone = "Europe/Paris";

Regards,
you have the same issue I had... Contact your host and ask that they increase the max_execution_time in the global settings as this is what my host done, and it fixed the issue.
Also they may have to increase the ram that the script uses.

Hi,
Not sure if this has been asked but nothing turns up when I search the forum.
I am using OC version 2.0.3.1 and E/I version 2.28.
I have the correct path in the spreadsheet and the image is in that place in OC, but the images do not show up. I am having to go in and add them manually.
If the paths and images weren't correct I'd me seeing an image placeholder rather than a tiny white box?
Thank you

It looks like you have not got the correct path to the images in the spreadsheet.
Can you provide one of the missing images path that shows in the spreadsheet and also the full line in one of your config files that starts... define('DIR_IMAGE', '...
mask out any personal domain name info if you want with ***

Unfortunately that does not help I am always ending up at the page not found error with v2.27 maybe in 2.28 it can changeArdozs wrote:jasonc310771 wrote:you have the same issue I had... I am having trouble installing the extension. Reading help from prior posts, it seemed like FTP is a major issue in OC. I know how to set up an ftp, my root was empty because it is installed at the root in a routed domain to my current host. Regardless I installed the plugin that enables you to bypass ftp. However I still get an error:
"Directory containing files to be uploaded could not be found!"
There is indeed a folder called "upload" in the zipped ocmod.zip file.
I have changed the location of my admin to another name, and I have also updated the in the install.xml file to point there.
Are there any other problems that could be here?

This is not an issue with the Export/Import tool, but with the Opencart installer. If your zipped ocmod.zip contains the expected 'upload' folder, yet you get the message "Directory containing files to be uploaded could not be found!" then there is a bug elsewhere, somewhere in your Opencart installer.asa100 wrote:I am having trouble installing the extension.
