Customer Account passwords not saving HELP.

I'm having this issue with opencart not saving the customer account passwords. They last about a day. Next day I log in with a user account and I get ERROR message. I have to have a password reset then I can log in to that account. A day later, same problem. It's not saving the passwords. I searched the forums and can't find anything on this.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

I'm still having this issue. My admin passwords save just fine, just not the customer account passwords.

i quess nobody ever dealt with such a problem before, and where should we be looking.

The only place where such things could happen is in the database, altering the customers passwords.
We dont have access to that.

i would suggest, creating a account and make sure it is working and you can loggin.
export the part of database where passwords are stored ie customer

if next day loggin is not possible, export same database table again and compare password.
password is not readable, but it should look the same ad you first exported one.

if password is the same check if salt is changed.

if both are the same, i would guess its file related.
