Up until about a few days ago our USPS module was working. I am using OpenCart 2.0.1.1

Today we tried it and when I click "Continue" on Step 3 of Checkout. It says "Loading" for a few seconds it will show a pop-up with error message:

Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<html><head>
<title>500 Internal Server Error</title>
</head><body>
<h1>Internal Server Error</h1>
<p>The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.</p>

[snip]

I disabled other shipping modules and deductively found it to be the USPS shipping module

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to note that I am using the default USPS module that came with my OpenCart 2.0.1.1

Thanks in advance.

Same issue here. I am thinking the USPS server is down.

Also found this good website to track API outages:

While programming a software application I happened to check and it is WORKING!

Had to be on USPS's side.
