I would like to setup a sub-domain that loads one of my category pages as the home page. I would like it to load the page http://www.cybermobilephones.co.uk/4G-Mobile-Store on the url of http://unlocked4gmobilephones.cybermobilephones.co.uk my hosting company state:
Add a folder to the root of your web space.
Eg. a folder called "subdomain".
Add an index file to this folder.
Okay I tested and this works....it can all be done from your cpanel, no need for an index file or not.
Login to your accounts cpanel
1. Create an addon domain for the subdomain and set the document root to where your opencart installation is. Save.
2. Create a redirect for the subdomain to redirect to your category link. Save.
Done.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
