Hello,

is there any possibility to conduct our plans as following:

- Active Directory users logged in at the Domain go to the Shop-Website
- via a group membership in AD there's checked if a user has "view only" rights, others have the opportunity to place orders etc.

We are planning to integrate the Shop into a Sharepoint Website, where SSO would be fine!

An alternative question is, if it's possible to (maybe scheduled) import users from LDAP / AD and give them the appropriate rights as stated above...?

Thanking you all in advance,

Best Regards,
Gard

Hi there

Have not done this myself, but you could look at http://adldap.sourceforge.net/? You would need to create a module in the system/library which would wrap this little library, but then basically you could then modify the customers model to use this new module as opposed to going to the underlying database, or augment each customer row with a link to the AD entry.
