intergration into a vb.net EPoS System

Hi Everyone,

I have been trying for the last 6 months to find information on how I can intergrate OpenCart into my EPoS System so i can have almost real time stock and sale information between both areas but I have not had any luck,.

What I have is a fully working vb.net EPoS system that my customers want to interlink with a new OpenCart Website. The database all ready has all the product information, Descriptions etc on it I just need to work out how to sync them I am in the process of creating a Sync App to link the 2 systems together

If some would could give me 2 sample codes

1. how to sync Categories
both main category as well as sub categories for example I have a sale location called Vacuum Bags and under that I have Kirby, Hoover, Panasonic etc so I would need to create this on the website via the Sync app I am trying to create

2. How to sync the product details and images to the server
I have in the database the full description that the customer wants to use so i would just need a sample code on how to upload one item to the website (as well as how to upload the image(s) for the item (some products have 3 images)

Once I have the above sorted i am posative I can work out the rest

You'll need to place such in the commercial Section, otherways, there is little chance, that you will be replied to. it's a strictly commercial application, you'll expect it to be, so, it takes a real Pro!
