Hello all
If I create an order for a customer in admin and set it to pending...the customer gets an order confirmation email which is cool.
But how do I make them pay for it? I dont see any button/link for them to have the option to pay for it in their order history.
Or is there a way I can send them a payment reminder?
Why creating an ADMIN Made Customer Order this way ? It could be achieved much easier, and COMPLETE, as well !

Depends on your payment processor. If they are paying by credit card, you can take their card information over the phone and process it as normal. If they want to pay by paypal, you could send them a paypal invoice and input the order as a "money order" payment sending them the paypal invoice after the fact.aljawaid wrote:Nice that's a good idea, I overlooked that.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
If the item(s) are in your store, you could login as the customer (shown above) and add it to their cart. Next time they login they can checkout with the normal OC routines. (The cart contents are saved to db by default)

Aha could be one way of doing it...but a link to pay for the customer would be better. I would rather avoid manually having to send a paypal invoice later though.

Something like this Extension (OC v.1.5.6.x) would be very handy, to make sure, the Customer receives an eMail, containing a link to the Shop Site PayPal Function, unfortunately, the Mod-Writer decided to charge for it, after it has been offered for free, until a couple of weeks ago. But it would have to rewritten to match V.2.x anyway, I just mentioned it, to give you an idea.

thanks, that would have been a very good alternative if it was free and for v2 but oh well.... learning is a slow process lol

I haven't gone live yet so I may only have the "one" customer too... it's not urgent for me - I was just curious as I created a test order in the admin and then thought, how would they pay for this? I think until I go live and I know how much this facility is needed, I can't be indulged in it too much. Although I do think it has been overlooked in the core. Unless I was expected to assume to leave the items in the cart for the customer to finish it off from their end. The latter cart method is probably how I will start when I go live.
