Thank you.
Yes I did look for extensions many times and I just looked again with the link you gave me. None of those are even remotely close to what I am talking about.
I am struggling to describe what I am referring to so it makes sense. Unless you actually use Opencart to sell items and don't just develop extensions, it will be hard to understand the problem.
When we create options to go with our products (such as blue and red shirts) there is not any way to create that option with an SKU number or a UPC number. So when we update our inventory by importing the spread sheets the OPTIONS in the products are not updated.
As it stands now If I had 10 Red Shirts yesterday and Today I have 5 I will have to manually go to the product page and change that value from 10 to 5. I don't just sell on opencart I have to update my inventory daily by importing spread sheets.
so I am asking is there an extension that allows me to import my spread sheet of 13,000 products that will change the value of the OPTIONS in the product pages?

if you check in an OC-DB, you see, that EVERY Value, Option, whatever, has it's 'Place' and 'ID' in the DB. Therefore, technically, it's not a problem to UPDATE a spreadsheet, containing all those values, and their 'Place' in the DB, then, after importing it's content again, you have all products and their Options set.
But, no matter, if you do it on a spreadsheat, or in the OC Admin Section, you have to do it manually, exept for FUNCTIONS, offered by Extensions, to globally change certain Values, such as prices, Titles, e.t.c.! And the reason for this is, that NO OC is like the other ! Everyone uses his/her own Options, and Extensions, and Themes, and Products, leaving their traces in a DB. It's therefore just about impossible, to develop a single Tool, serving them all. Not even talking about the hundreds of dollars, such a tool would possibly cost, to pay the time and knowledge involved!
If you know, what I'm trying to say...

I understand what you are saying. That is the best answer I have gotten yet to this issue.
I wish there was a way i could add actual products as the options. Just like when we add products to "related products" and it actually autocompletes for us.
I sell gun holsters. One model of a holster has variations for several different guns. I was hoping there was a way for a customer to just go to that holster then select the gun they need it for. However in order to do that I would need to be able to maintain the stock quantiities of those individual holsters easily.
I think this could be solved if we were allowed to add our products tot he options just as we do for other features.

it may sound silly, but in many cases, it could/would be easier to use the good old html way.
Somewhere, I found this simple Idea of creating a kind of Product Extension/Option Selection Form Page.
On the Site, where I found it, it's linked to an HTTP Form-Reception/Handling URL (.../mail.php).
But it does NOT handle any OC-STOCK, and/or USE the OC DB, to get/store Product- or Name-related THINGS.
At least not, as it has been rewritten by me. It act's just like a regular (SHOP) SITE Contact Form. Just to mention it!
http://pleatmark.com/test/index.php?rou ... easurement
I created a quick basic sample, with Option Drop-Down Selection included, of it:
http://www.ipc.li/os/formfile.zip
one could always implement it, in wich way ever, into the existing Shop, indidually linked,
and adapted to the requirements, directly from the individual Product Page, possibly combined
with other important data, such as Product/Price/etc., depending on Skill...
It seems to be part of a Theme, or then a Custom Mod.
just an idea...
